Keep your hopes up. Everything will be fine. Creditors are calling you because they are not getting back their money from you. Next time when they call you, explain your situation and insist to arrange some kind of payment plans with you. Assure them in all possible ways that you want to clear these debts and don't want to leave it hanging above your head. They will understand and arrange something in your favor. They want to get their money back, make them feel that you have every intentions of paying your debts.
Take the advice of a debt counselor in this situation. He will guide you and do some budgeting with your finance. He will go through your total income and necessary expenses and figure out how much saving can be done. The more you save, your situation becomes better. He will help in keeping your debt to income ratio at the lowest.
Do you mind telling how much is the total amount of your debt? Most of us here are in similar situation and can assist you with different suggestions. You will find everyone helpful here.
In need of emergency debt settlement
Thank you for your reply. I'm at least 10,000 in debt. I've tried to talk to most of them, but this one particular company, just don't want to hear anything that i have to say. They was calling me at least 8 times a day. Now my phone got cut off, my job is really cutting down to nothing, and this one company is in the repo stage. They keep coming by my house twice a day, trying to repo our stuff. It's to the point where my kids won't go outside to play; i live in apartments, i borrowed a few dollars from my granny for gas just to get to work and to take the kids to school. I have not been contacted by any of the counselors yet. I hope someone will contact me before this weekend is over. Thanks again for your reply.god bless
