You should immediately report GFSIL to your local AG and file a complaint with the FTC. They are receiving complaints from people all over and actions will be taken soon. If you have your complaints posted, they will review your case also.

I have heard about this company and their practices. What they have done was illegal because they can take the payment on due date after the holiday so there was no excuse.

As suggested talk the situation over with your bank because this type of practic is not legal. Also, follow up with complaints with the AG's office. I've heard a lot of bad things about this company but I've never deal with them myself.

I will also consider closing the checking account because they have access to it. They will try for something again. Use western union to pay the balance. Don't give out the new checking account info after you open it.
