can you help me pay of my gas bill of 452.25

I don't know about all gas companies, but mine has a number at the bottom specifically for people who can't pay the whole thing. They might be able to set you up on a "budget plan" where they give a set monthly payment. Come summer, when you're not using that much gas, you still pay the monthly budget amount and it basically catches your account up.

You might go to your state's Public Utility Commission to see if they have any options available.

If you call your gas company, since you have medical reasons, they should be able to work with you. Also, is some areas, some of your local churches, local help centers, etc., might be able to help. Yes a lot of states have energy assistance programs you can apply to. I know that on the website for my energy company they have a section there that gives your resources for assistance. Contact your energy company and see what they can tell you. If not take Bossy's advice and look into local churhes, help centers..etc.

take teh advice of everyone here.. they have alot of good advice.. def check into the budget program.. it usually goes by ur income and what u have goin out.. also if ur husband has medical problems and u recieved a turnoff notice usually on the bottom of that letter it will have a number to call about gas services for peoplewith medical conditions . i think the doctor has to send something in as proof as why u need teh services on.unfortunatley u may have to pay a reconnect fee though
