I'm trying to get out of the mess with the payday loans, so I closed my bank account so they can't debit from it anymore. I opened a new account and I'm not giving this new account info to anyone, but I'm just wondering if you guys think it is safe to pay credit card bills online? I used to do it with my old account, but I want to be very careful with my new one. Anyone have any advice?

I closed my acct and opened a new one also. I have been paying my cc payment online, but I just make sure that it says a secured website. If not, then I wouldn't risk it.

I agree with natdust20, I also opened a new account and I go to the sites that i normally pay bills online with, including one cc and I have not had any problems, they are secured sites.

That's good to know. My car insurance, for one, is a bill I paid on line; but since my PDL nightmare, I've been sending them a check. Maybe I'll go back to paying on line. Thanks, guys.

brownsugar I pay mostly all of my bills online no trouble whatsoever. I dont think they can get your account this way. :D But with these vultures you have a right to worry.
