I was successful in getting 4 of my Payday lenders to mark me paid in full, but have now hit a brick wall. I have loans w/Apple Fast Cash $300 loan have paid a total of $1494, Instant Cash loan $200 (I technically owe $60) and Paycheck Today $300 have paid $535. I have called and emailed requesting that I get marked as paid in full for Apple and Paychecktoday immediately and have asked that after I pay $60 to ICTPD I be marked PIF. I was told noway. When I informed ICTPD, I was told that when I applied I agreed to follow the laws of their state, I don't remember that, and when I spoke w/Paycheck today I was told that the only way I could speak w/someone concerning settling is if it goes to collection and that "the man wants his money." The jury is still out w/Apple, but I would greatly appreciate some advice.

Wow, "the man wants his money". That's classy. Have you been sending letters DEMANDING to be paid in full?

Paychecktoday is tough. I never dealt with them, but I've read countless posts from others who have. Hopefully someone who was successful with them will chime in here..As far as apple goes, they were a dream to work with. Seriously, out of my 6 loans, they were the best. I owed them and had to pay them, but they didn't add interest, didn't demand western union, and worked with me on a payment plan. They are very reasonable, but watch out, because I do know that they don't hesitate to send the debt to collections. Good luck.

i had a loan with paychecktoday and several other companies. If you tell them you are in financial distress they will work with you. They froze my balance with them and allowed me to pay out the debt over my next three pay cycles. They marker me paid in full.

You have way overpaid that one to Apple..I mean way overpaid...I would continue to flood them with correspondance until they answer you....Did yuo file complaints with AG? In order for these companies to lend to you,, they have to abide by your state laws regardless of what the contract stated.
