I have four payday loans that have defaulted all at one time. I got over my head on bills and had to pay them all at once and now it seems like I can't recover. If it were one amount taken out at one time it would be so much easier than 4 different places withdrawing whatever they want from my account. No matter how much money I put in there, I always manage to get a NSF in my statements. I only had one more payment on each loan before they defaulted. Now I have companies calling me 24-7. Can you help me? I am trying to get some credit and it doesn't look like I am going in the right direction. Thanks! -Brianna

Hi Brianna. Welcome to the forum. Yes, we can help you. First, since you have registered, a debt counselor will be contacting you shortly to go over the different options for your particular situation.

Also, if you can provide us with a little information, we may be able to help, as well. First, are these internet or storefront loans? What state do you live in? How much were the loans for and how much have you already paid back (interest, fees, etc.)?

Hi Brianna

You may ask a debt counselor to calculate all the previous payments done on the pdls and compare the charges with your state laws. You should know the status of the accounts and find out if there is any further due. You will come to know if there is any need to make arrangements with the companies calling you or make them mark your account as "paid"

You need to pull your bank statements and calculate the latest status of the pdls.
