Hi, my name is Beth Dishon and I am a single mother of an almost 3 year old boy. I have been pretty good with payments until recently I am currently 3 car payments behind and behind on all of my bills and I would to get some help before it gets deeper and deeper. I also have to pay out of pocket my son's babysitter every 2 weeks and I have other bills to pay out of those. I do not get much out of child support to help support my son and even though I have been at my job for almost 8 years I do not get paid enough to help pay for all of my bills. So please i am asking for help. Thank You and Please

The main thing is take care of your secured debt first. Credit cards and payday loans can wait; Putting off the car payment will get it reposessed.

You might call your car finance company and ask if the offer extension agreements. This may let you pay less than the regular payments just to get current, and then will throw those payments on the back end of the loan.

Like Lorri said, since you registered a counselor will be in contact with you and will be able to discuss your options. It does sound like debt consolidation may be able to help in this situation.
