yes i been threated with being arrested at home or at work with have had a worthless check from my account due to ach debits and having other bills come out resulting in overdraft charges and my checking account closed.

Was you threat from an internet payday lender. If so don't worry, they are trying to get you to pay with threats. They are the ones breaking the law.

Michael, Bdouble is right. These companies will threaten you with arrest and contacting your employer, anything they can think of to get you to pay. If this was an internet PDL, you need to see if they are legal in your state. Check out your state's laws . If they're illegal, you have some leverage. Let us know.

I owe payday avenue $242 and want to pay off loan in 2 paymnets.Was told need to pay today or company could get money "involuntary"way. Offered 2 payments within 2 weeks of each other to pay off loan completley .Advice?
