How Did you go about getting the refund, because it looks like GFSIL and ICS are the same company. I have one payday loan with each company and they have deducted over 2000 from my account and I am sick of it.

No doubt, GFSIL / ICS is violating all the state laws in their pdl business. Keep bugging them for a refund. Make sure that you are doing this after checking with your state laws and know the total money sent on the loan account. If you are sure of paying them above the loan principal, they will need to refund. Since the company is licensed in the US, they can't add interests and fees on the loan principal. Keep filing your complaints with the state and federal authorities so that they also come into some action against this company.

I would also file a complaint with your state's attorney general's office asking for a refund as well. I have done this with three lenders who recently crawled out of the wood work. I haven't heard anything back yet but it's only been a couple of weeks. I had plenty of documentation to send in with my complaints as these companies have harassed me in the past and I have overpaid them by hundreds of dollars per my state laws.

Natdust, I know exactly how you feel about ICS. I dealt with them last year..I ended up paying them over $2000. I got a refund from Rio, but I never tried with ICS because they simply decided they got their money's worth from me and went away.

Keep us updated on this..I am VERY interested. I know they're going to play the "laws of England" card on this one..Good luck.
