Are payday loans considered in a debt consolidation program?

Hi nne79, welcome to the boards. While you may need debt consolidation for other debt I would hesitate to include payday loans along with it as these types of loans are workable with consoldation. We all would be glad to assist you here with figuring out what needs to be done. If you follow these steps we can help you begin to get some control over your loans.

First off what state are you in? Have you closed your bank acct yet? If not you really need to close your acct and open another to get control of your finances. Also are they all IPDL (Internet payday loan)? Now what you need to do is sit down and make a list of each company you are dealing with, how much/date they deposited into your acct and then list separately each ACH/debit they, made and date they made it from your acct. After you have all that, we will go from there but we need that information to figure out if you owe them or they owe you.

Welcome to the forums. The problem with that one is if you are in a state where payday lending is legal then you may have to do consolidation. Also if you have storefront consolidation may be an answer. Go to http://www.paydayloaninfo.org and look up your state laws. Also please register and have a counselor contact you. It never hurts to become informed. Best Wishes KYSIDE38
