My daughter just got robbed of her money for the past 9months from some other company now i'm worried about this company i joined. It takes a few months before they deal with the credit card company's by then they could have stolen my money.why can't i send them a check this way i can track down where payment really goes to.
Thanks,
Sue

Welcome to the forums! Your information listed above is not really clear enough to allow us to help you. Can you please post a little more info? What company are you speaking of, and who is taking the money? Is it a credit counseling company or a payday lender?

Since you have registered with this site, a consultant from your area will be contacting you soon to discuss your options for debt consolidation or settlement.

In the meantime, check out the Benefits of Debt Consolidation:

The approach in a debt consolidation program is different from a debt settlement program. You won't get the same benefits in every program offered according to your situation.

Looking at the way you want things to happen, maybe debt consolidation will be the best fit for you. You will get monthly statements and the payments will be posted to your creditors every month like you expected.

If you sign for a debt settlement42 program, you will have to put your accounts in default for few months before the consultant begins negotiations with your creditors. They should be able to explain your creditors clearly that you are unable to afford payments and want a settlement. If you can do payments every month, creditors will throw back saying that you never have any financial difficulties. Of course, you will save more money in this program in comparison to debt consolidation. You will have to make a choice which program is the best fit for you.

Research the company with the local bureaus and the DA's office. You will get feedbacks on them and make your decisions easier.
