paying off debt.

I had a situtation where I was having them attempt to take payment from a checking account and I didn't get my cash in there fast enough and they tried taking it and it wasn't there to take. I have tried looking for a number to call or an e-mail so I can set up other arrangements quickly without them trying the account that has nothing in it. Can I get any help?
