Without more detail, I can't shed too much light. Don't take this personally, but you can't have the car for free. When you get 2-3 or more payments behind, they will want the car back.
The only way to avoid reposession is to either bring the account current, or at least make some type of arragements with the creditor and show them you are not trying to skip out. Call them, or answer the phone when the call you. Ignoring their calls is a good way to get the car reposessed.

It can happen if you are behind in your payments even by one day. Go ahead and call your creditors. You can actually save a lot of hassles by making one single phone call.
