What happens if i stop payment to bahamas marketing group?

I don't think they can do anything---would you close your bank account or just stop payment on them withdrawing funds? They will probably start harrassing you by phone of course, but they all do that!!!

These contacted me when I was going through my pdl disaster. A bunch of foriegners making false threats just like the rest of them. They were even calling me from cell phones, morons, it showed up on my caller id as such. They left me along after I informed them an official complaint was filed against them with the AGs office and Division of Financial Institutions and if they threatened me one more time the DA's office would soon be notified. That was over 3 1/2 months ago. They claimed they were collecting on behalf of ASAP (which had already settled with me through the AGs office).

Keep posting the complaints to your state AG when these lenders break the laws.

Get the latest status of your account and pay them according to the laws in your state. It will be nice to get off their back as soon as possible. Check whether Bahamas is licensed in your state. If they aren't, they will have to work on your terms because they violated the laws.

Do they try to come back under a diffrednt name?

I don't think that they will try to get into your account using a different name, but some are known to change one digit in the company id and get in that way. If you are just placing a stop pay on them, be sure to do it for all amounts.

Well i talked to the bank if this happens they will reverse it.
