A Creditor keeps calling my house about my daughters small debt that she has not paid. I told them that she was grown and did not live at my address any more and to stop calling. He actually called the former owner of my home and had him relay a message to my me at my house right after I told him to stop calling. They said it was legal. He called it a reverse search.

A creditor can call 3rd parties only to find the whereabouts of someone they are looking for. They cannot give out any information to that 3rd party that they are debt collectors trying to collect a debt.If they did so then what they did is illegal. If you know the collector and have an address for them I would send out a cease and desist letter telling them that she does not live there and you do not want anymore calls from them.If you have the name of the company and dont know the address if you would post it on here I'm sure someone could find it for you.
