I recieved a call from these people, they threatned me by saying they will put a lein on my house and car. I offered to make the monthly payments by sending a money order check, but they refused they said the want my bank acount number so they can withdraw the money themselves, I refused to give them my bank acount, they said they will see me in court and hung up the phone. any one had any experience with these people what should i do. thanks

Send the proposals to the company in writing. Make them understand that you have every intention to pay them back. But you are not comfortable giving out the checking account info. Do you have their agreement in writing? Check the payment mode if money order is accepted. Send the money order along with your proposal letter. They will receive your money and will be bound to post it on your file.
Documentation is very important so that you can put your defense in the court. The judge will see that you are not showing any refusal to pay the debt.
