Hello, I found this site by searching for contact info for Northway Credit, every time they debit my account a different ammount is taken from my account. And after reading through the messages I am going to go and cancel my checking account today and just deal with the creditors. I am too also in trouble with PDLs and after my rent and child support [another long story] is paid I have nothing left. except negative $$$. I am trying to go back to school however they are requesting $800.00 for tools that I need to attend this school. Does anyone know how I could possible get in contact with a student loan or a gov. grant from Ill? I am trying to climb out of this whole that I am in. Help! Thank You Lori

I believe Northway is the name VC Funding uses to debit/credit client accounts. Did you have a payday loan with them? If so, how much was the loan for, and how much have you paid back in finance charges so far?

I think you said you are in Illinois, and I know they are not licensed in your state, and depending on your state's payday loan laws, you most likely have been charged and illegal interest rate/finance charge on this loan. If they've been taking out fees from your account for awhile, you may find that you've more than paid them back.

As for a student loan, there are a many options from what I've seen on the Internet. nextstudent.com and educationfinancepartners.com are a couple of sites you can check out for more info.
