I recently pulled up my credit and I have $8,000. I want to pay thses off but can I decrease these payoffs? How. IF you could give me advice that would be great!
Thanks, Veronique

Get some tips from the DIY section in this website. You will learn some techniques on negotiating with your creditors. Basically, the creditor wants to have their money back. If you assure them regular payments, they will offer some benefits in your repayments. First do a couple of payments so that they get convinced and offer your some good deals. Talk clearly with your creditors. There is nothing to hide about your situation. Offer them what you can realistically afford and stick to the plan. There is every chance of your paying at lower interest rate and most fees waived off.

What is the status of your account? Are you behind in your payments? Usually, the negotiations gets lengthy if the account is delinquent since long time. Professional help is needed in such situations. Talk to the creditor and offer your payment plans. If they are not convinced, you must seek professional advice.
