Now that you have blocked the companies from debiting in your account, expect them to be calling you. They will force you to send more money to get the loan paid off. Recite the laws of your state and ask them to mark your account paid in full. Tell them that if they are not going to do this, you will be filing your complaints with the local AG and the BBB against them on charges of taking more money even after the account is paid off. Also, tell that you are going to mention their refusal to mark your account closed if they don't get it done. Make sure that you have gone through your bank statements and are confirmed about your payments. Double check with your state laws. What state are you in?

Make sure that you have listed on the blocks that all amounts from these companies are blocked. I have found in my personal experience that these companies will stop at nothing and try different, smaller amounts at various times to get their money. So I would check with your bank to ensure that this language is entered on the block.
