Can I settle my own debt?

You don't need to hire a settlement company if you are satisfied with the negotiations done by you with your creditors. Have you called and placed a proposal yet? Take some professional advice. If it becomes necessary to hire debt settlement services, they will be able to manage a lower repayment program with your credit companies.

I was with a debt settlement company with no luck. I have been doing much better on my own but I've researched a lot on the internet and in the forums here. I've also had some assistance from a professional as well. It can be done.
