Debts after divorce

I have recently gone through a divorce and due to my being young and dumb, i forgot to take her name off of the cards and now i owe over 16000 in credit card debt.

Are you still in touch with your ex? You can request her to pay her portion. Did you prepare any legal document after the divorce happened? The decree will separate the individual share of debts. You just have to show it to the credit company and they will stop calling you for her portion. If you haven't done this, it is possible to do it now after you both have mutually agreed to get this done.
