Don't beat yourself up about the financial situation you have gotten yourself into. It is in the past and no, it can't be changed. However, by realizing and recognizing the mistakes you have made you will be better prepared to avoid them in the future. Pay close attention the advice the debt counselor gives you. Get a part-time job in addition to your regular job and work off some of your debts. Good Luck!

I was young when I got into debt and unfortunately had to file for bankruptcy. You are never too young to get into debt. I wanted to be something and somebody and I was depressed most of the time and I thought that buying things would make me feel better but it didn't help. I know how you feel so do many others. Don't beat yourself up. Just dust yourself off and move on.

Read my blog linked below. It tells my story and how I got into this mess. It might help you. THere are a few of us out there who have made mistakes and have moved on.

First things first, contact your creditors and let them know what the situation is and that you are willing to work out payment arrangments. Do not get another loan. That's the worst thing to do: borrow money to get out of debt. It won't help your situation. Try debt consolidation if you are unable to work out arrangements with your creditors.
