Have you considered contacting each of these companies and requesting that you and them work out some kind of payment arrangements? That will be much cheaper than getting a debt consolidation company involved.

A debt counselor will call you shortly for discussing about your accounts. I will stress more on those accounts that are recently delinquent. Those that are far behind can wait for some more time unless the creditor / debt collector intends any legal actions.
