How to unlock your Motorola without cables software

Hi everybody, my name is Gareth Frankland, and I've been hearing stories about a new software
that generates subsidy codes for Motorola cell phones by using the imei number, like you do with Nokia's.
Beleive that the software's called Mototools 6. Anyone know where I can get my hands on a copy?And how
much it costs?

 


No, this crap isn't legal. It doesn't work and if they catch you doing it, they can sue the heck out of you. The other day when I was in my cell provider's office, a guy came in and stupid like asked them how to do it illegal. He was talking about the same thing and they told him that he could be arrested for hacking.

Actually, what that guy said at the cell phone shop is akin to a debt collector lying. The fact is you own the phone, you have the right to do whatever you want with it. Here's the deal - you hack it and it messes up, you are screwed. You have just voided any warranty you have.

But having the right to access your phone is your business. That cell phone guy's story would be like a car dealership telling me that me fixing my car is illegal. Or Best Buy stating that is I play my own burned DVD in my player it's illegal. There is a lot of software out that to access your phone, unlock memory areas, access the sound and pic folders....you name it. But no, you cannot find software to access cell towers and dial for free. Those don't exist. The only software out there that does that are viruses or trojan horses. You could potentially unlock your phone from your provider, but good luck with that one.

I won't point you towards any software. If you were smart enough to come to this site looking for cell phones (and that was said with a bit of sarcasm since I have YET to see a single thread about cell phones), you can use google to search for many a thread and forum out there that talk about just what you want to do.

But I will say this again: if you use any software to access your cell phone, you run the risk of tampering with it in such a way that it will be unusable and void any warranty. Use at your own risk!
