Paid Allied Interstate three years back. Still getting calls

I paid off allied interstate almost three years ago, and i am recieving phone calls from some other agency claiming i never paid. I have a copy of the cancelled check and faxed it over to them. this is a little bizarre.

Most collection agencies contact people with incomplete and disputed files in their system. It is very necessary for you to have some proof so that you can tell these people that the debt is already paid off. If they don't leave, slap them with a DV letter and C&D order. They won't be legally allowed to contact you after receiving the letter. They must have legit proof that you owe before doing further collections.
I would contact the agency you paid it at and also get a zero ba
