Good Morning,
I just wanted to know if a item that has been removed from my Equifax file is still showing up on Experian and Trans Union. Is it my understanding if an item has been removed from a consumer's credit file they also need to report to the other credit reporting agency. Thanks in advance.

Hi Julia

If required, show copy of Equifax to Transunion and Experian that already has the negative item removed. Lenders don't report the same information to all the bureaus and it's not communicated within the CRAs. You will have to get your file updated with the bureaus individually when there's a dispute.
