I was just wondering how many credit cards a company would consider to many. I currently have 2 and am trying to rebuild my credit. I have very low limits on the card and am currently paying a car off....I didn't know if the 2 cards that I have, which are in good standards and have never been paid late or maxed will really help boost my credit or not. If anyone has any suggestions just let me know. I would appreciate it a lot.

thanks!

Welcome to the forums!

I'll wade into deep water here stephanie......the more CC's you have , the harder it will be to pay for your future. CC's? all they are is a gamble you take thinking you will always be able to pay for the future in the present.

Tuck away at a minimum....$500 into a savings account for disaster times....the less you try to finance your future, the better off you are. Depending on your present earnings? I'll wager a guess & say two is more than plenty. Do not max them out......use the conservative approach, okie dokie?
