I just want to consolidate my debts

Thanks for answering...well a do want to consolidate my cc`s...and that`s all, just one payment and not dealing with different dates or miss one. :oops: and then get a late fee :(

about myself? uhmmm I work for a non profit organization and I love my work.

If one payment with lowered interest and late/overlimit fees waived is what you're after, then debt consolidation is a good option for you.

It's great that you love your work, that makes a big difference. If your non-profit organization is anything like the one I work for, you're not making the big bucks, eh?...lol

The nice thing about consolidating your bills with a consolidation company is that they can negotiate lower interest rates and fees sometimes. Occasionally they can even get them stopped completely. Of course, it is all dependent on your situation, the consolidation company you are with and of course, ultimately your creditors.

I was also told it does not hurt your credit like you think. It does look better than charge-offs or bankruptcy. I would definately look into the option. Best Wishes KYSIDE38

Have you had a look at the ranking chart on here for your state? I would recommend checking out any company you're considering using with the BBB to see what kind of record they have, how many complaints, were they resolved, etc.

Your organization sounds really great.
