I was considering using them to settle my credit card debt.Has anyone heard of them or used them. They do admit to having 12 complaints in the past 3 years. Does anyone have any other reputable companies they can recommend? Thanks

I have been with Superior for about 8 months so far. They have been very nice and helpful. They have settled 1 accounts and are working on the second one right now. They are very good no complaints.

Those who have been with them for a while: what kind of experiences have you had, i.e. do the creditors cooperate or do they bombard you with mail and phone calls? I have just started and wonder what to expect.

Been w/them 3 years now. Thye originally quoted me 3 years but due to continually increasing interest on my debts it will be another 18 months at least. I'm going to court right now for my largest creditor who didn't want to wait. Looks like I'll have to work it out myself although they do give me advice...not sure it's great advice though. They say they've changed their sales contracts now to reflect and take into account the fact that interest continues to accrue. What was a less than $6,000 credit card debt is now over $12,000 due to interest and lawyers fees. After a judgement I'm STILL paying interest...just now, they can garnish my wages for it. That was my largest creditor and accounted for half of my total debt. My credit score is poor now due to non-payment and settlement. Don't know how many years it'll take to recover from this. In ways it removed stress but the end result is about the same. I would give them a B/B-. They answer my calls, I don't get a runaround. My case manager has been the same since I started...they said they would refund me the amount to my account the percentage I paid them (up front) to settle the largest account. We'll see how easy that is.......

In October I will have been with them for one year. A few months ago they were able to settle one of my credit card debts. The agent I talked to initially was very helpful, we connected right away, I still stay in contact with her. My case manager has changed. At one point I was VERY frustrated them. I was going insane from all the collection calls and wondered what I was paying them for and why didn't I just do it myself. It was shortly after this that the first debt was settled. My only complaint thus far is that they don't stay in contact with me as much as I'd like. I'm always told to call, but I'd like them to initiate the calls. I would prefer for them to check in with me to see how things are going or to give me a status report. Just a warning, the collection calls are INTENSE. I had to put my phone on silent so I wouldn't have to listen to it ringing all the time.
