I have recently move into a house, I have gotten a new job poir to that. I open too many accounts as far as credit cards and car payments. I find since I have move it is getting harder and harder to pay my payments on time. I really feel it is important to pay everything on time. Now I relieze that I need to pay every thing off, because my balance never goes down by paying the min. payment. I also have some medical bills to pay off that i cant affort to pay on at all.

Welcome amandahorsewoman. Since you have registered with this site, a counselor will contact you shortly to discuss your options. You will find with debt consolidation that you can combine all your credit cards, etc into one monthly payment.

Feel free to browse the forums. You will find alot of useful information here.

You have to make larger payments so that it goes towards the principal amount. Paying the minimum amount won't help because it's eaten up in interests alone. Next month you will be charged with interests and fees again.

I will suggest you to call the credit card company and make them aware about your situation. Tell them that you are not able to afford the existing interests and fees and you are likely to default. Since they also want to get their money back, they may offer you some extensions without charging any fees and lower the existing rates. You may also take the assistance of a debt counselor to forward your proposals to the creditors and arrange a repayment plan.
