I would like to buy a house in the near future. I can get a va loan but all of my debt has to be settled. I have lots of old debts. How can I settle and get out of debt quickly (in about 6 months)?

Why not you call the creditors on your own and put your proposals? Give a try, you can also do it. Take the help from the DIY

Make sure that you put a clause in the agreement that they agree to report the pay offs to the credit reporting agencies, all three of them. Otherwise they will take the money and your report will still reflect the same information.
