So you ran up your credit card debt and couldn't pay the bills. You got into a program that would settle your debt for less than what you owed, but were to impatient to let the process work for you. Yea, i ran up my cards too and yea I tried to work with the credit card companies and collection companies myself. oh, yea they would work with me alright and lower the amount I owed, however they wanted all the settlement money right now. I don't happen to have that kind of money. If I did I wouldn't be in this position. I sucked it up and stayed with the program. I paid off my last debt yesterday. I am free free free-----i will never use credit cards again. As for these nambie pambie's all over this website, looking for the easy way out with bk===you will always be losers

I'm sure back when you were having problems, this forum meant a lot to you. Instead of coming back and helping others, by giving support you rudely throw it in their face. The people on here are not cry babies, rather brave citizens just like yourself and I doing their best to get back on track. Don't try and act all high and mighty now that you are debt free just because there are other people in the situation you once were in. Think about it.

We should but there will just be more foolishness behind him.

Debtdumbdumb from Chicago. I am so glad that you were able to pay your bills off in a timely matter. I understand that you, being a person of so much wisdom and knowledge  clearly did not need to file bankruptcy because you sucked it up and paid your bills. However, there are people like me who had to file because we didn't have such an easy way out like you did. There are many of us who had issues, medical, physical, emotional, divorce, loss of employment etc. We don't have the luxury of having the money to pay our debts like you did so we had no alternative. We had to do what we had to do. Maybe if you had been in our shoes, you would understand. But apparently being such the great consumer you are, you wouldn't understand such things as that.

We thank you for coming to board and gracing us with your presence and wisdom. However, I am asking that you leave. Leave the message board to those who can provide a helping hand and an understanding mind to help those who aren't as fortunate to pay their bills like you.

By the way, I have paid off some of my debts that I had before I came on this board. I still have a long way to go but I am willing to help out someone who has a little longer to go. Such you have nothing to provide, say nothing.

Oh my gosh, another one??

I feel so "beneath" these people who do not need any help.....NOT! Great for those that do not need any help or support or encouragement, but some of us are not the "fortunate". But that is ok, I don't mind asking for help or support.

PUFFS???---Why just hearing that some lucky duck gets to use Puffs instead of the 99cent store brand makes me feel so goooooooooooood!!! Why, I'd just curl up and die if I ever got so lucky---and I bet you are so rich ya get to use the Charmin' toilet paper too, don't ya Alexandra??? And you have enough to give some to Steelers too? What do I have to do to get on your good side?

Oh and BTW--whoever you are "original poster"---call us whatever you want--don't care a bit---we might be cry babies but DAMN we use expensive tissues to wipe that snot off of our noses-----------

Now----be gone before I drop a house on YOU.

Yeeeesh. How old are you??? I haven't heard that phrase since my grandmother said it, and she passed away about 20 years ago. In fact, I doubt you are even from Chicago. We don't talk like that. At least not since my Grandma died.

It would at least keep the spam out and blank posts out of here. I agree with Cajun that I'm spending a lot of time removing things that shouldn't be here, when that time could be used answering to actual questions.

The guests that just don't want to register for whatever reason can still post their questions, it just wouldn't show until someone approves that it isn't spam. It would definatly save us all some time . . . . .

I think you should send your post into Vikas, cause it could probably be done very easily (I talk like I know about computers---HAAAAAAAAAAAAA----not!!!)

Ya' these kinds of posts are so pointless and so juvenile and are so familiar every single time----my money says it is someone who used to be a regular poster/member, got ticked off and is now trying to somehow get revenge---I say get over it.

Totally agree . . . . . I will send this suggestion to Vikas and see what they say. I think it would really help us mods out to not have to keep looking for spammers or others that want to muddy up the board.

I don't think they should go back to having everyone have to register. I just hate to see the guests that come on here and stir up trouble - everyone knows that's the only reason they're doing it. Steelers is right - Doug Danger is a very good reminder of that. They come on here, post their drivel and then sit back and watch the sparks fly - and in most cases, they don't respond - they just watch. They're getting what they want.

All right guys and ladies. Let's turn this obvious negative post into something positive. Think of one positive thing that you can say about this board. One thing.

I am happy that I came to this board because back in March last year, I was drowing in debt and embarassed because I couldn't buy a pair of decent shoes. Since I have come here, I have more money in my pocket and was able to buy a new pair of shoes.

Good idea to turn the post into something positive---I would like to say that this board has made me much more aware of the dangers of too much debt.

Hey how about we try this---everybody post what you think..........Every time we get one of these type of posts, we all respond with something positive and completely ignore the negativity? This is going to be my own new policy.

Victoria secret I would go! Course might get in trouble there with all the cute females wandering about! I am lucky enough to have a wife who understands that my eyes do appreciate any good looking woman but that is far as I take it! Although when I see a young woman sometimes it makes me feel my age! :(
