Any advice on borrowing money to pay the debts?

All I need to do is borrow about 5,000.00 to pay off a 1,000.00 cell phone bill my daughter ran up and other bills Im behind on and still have enough to put down an apartment because I cant afford the rent Im paying now. Any advice? Thank you.

My advice is opposite to what you are planning? Don't borrow money when you are already going through crisis. At this stage, you will be only multiplying to what you already owe. You don't owe a large amount. You can either use one of the dmp program or pay it on your own. First call the creditors and put your payment proposals. Maybe they will work with you and you won't need to consider any professional help.
If this doesn't work, there are better solutions in achieving a debt free life.
