Since you registered, if you gave your phone number when you signed up, a credit counselor will call you soon. They'll go over your financial situation, and help you explore your options. Perhaps they can be of help. If you use any company, research them thoroughly--BBB, AG, FTC, etc...
Go through the posts in the credit repair forum, too, and if you need, post your thoughts, problems, and questions. There is a lot of experience on this board, perhaps we can be of help to you.

Just stay away from those so called "credit repair" places. I have a friend that got scammed on them. They took her money and didn't go anything any more than what she could have done her self, (sent out a couple of letters and told her that was all they could do for her). She lost a little over $500, which she could not afford to loose. Maybe there are some legitimate places, but I am too leary of them.

There's some radio ads where people claim their scores go from the "low 600's" to 750 or 780. Seems a little fishy.
