Anyone who's dealt with or are dealing with Cashland, do you know what this means? Have you had them take money out of your new bank accounts when they couldn't get money out of your closed accounts? How soon did Cashland try this? My account with Cashland is with T and C, and T and C started sending payments out to Cashland and my other PDL loans today. Do I have anything to worry about? I hope Cashland can't get access into my new bank account, because if they can, I'm screwed big time. I've been trying to find out if others have had this happen to them, but I haven't found out anything. Any help or insight anybody could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Some banks do allow businesses to debit a customers account using only their social security number. This is probably what they are refering to.
I would send them a letter stating you revoke any and all authorization you gave Cashland to debit any bank account you may be associated with. That way if they do try to hit a new account you can get the bank to reverse it.
