I think it is important to envision your life after pdls. This is a temporary situation.

What would you use the extra money for and what would you do to ensure that you would never need another pdl?

I would use the extra money to pay off my mortage.

I will NEVER get another PDL!!!! I have learned my lesson (if you want to know what I have been through with PDL's read my story) I just get sick when I see another new PDL store open up in the area. Because I know there will be someone out there like me. It's sad but true. Someone desperate for money and no where to turn, runs into these stores with open hands and not knowing what they are getting into. I have 3 IPDL's paid off 3 store fronts paid off, I have an IPDL settlement pending payment on the 13th then that one will be paid. And I should have 3 more store fronts paid off by the end of this month.:)

So like I said before I will NEVER take out another PDL or IPDL because I am tired of living and working to pay them.

I just had my first payday without pdls being taken out and it felt good! Like everyone else, I will NEVER EVER take out another pdl and am doing what I can to discourage others from doing the same thing. I do not like not being able to pay bills and getting behind. I am still playing catch up, but at least I have a little money to play catch up with! Might take me a while to get totally caught up, but I can keep from getting any further behind! I got screwed one more time by United Cash Loans for $65 plus NSF fees before we got the account thing taken care of (and right now I won't get started on that because that also makes me mad), because they did a "check" that was unauthorized. As soon as I get my final statment in the mail that shows a copy of that check, it will be going to the AG's office as well. But I have lived through hell and do not plan on going through it again! It is nice to breath a little easier!

I would buy my baby all the things he needs so I could stop spening my nights upset about how I dont have anything prepared and cant possibly come up with the money I need to get him the things he needs in 2 months...
And I will never ever take out a PDL again, and if my husband ever puts me in that situation again, I will throw his butt out of the house!

After we get out of this pdl garbage, we are never ever ever in our liftime getting another advance from these 21st century loan sharks. We screwed ourselves bad by getting these loans, and it felt great when we closed our accounts and stopped paying the illegial interest, not to mention, the massive amounts of nsf fees that we were getting as well.

After we finish paying every one off, the money we were using on the illegial fees, we are first going to downsize and live well under our means. Then, we are going to aggressively attack the remainder of our bills (credit cards, cars, etc) using the Dave Ramsey debt snowball method and hopefully in six years, we will be totally out of debt, including our home.
