oes anyone who have had their account marked "Paid In Full" by a pdl after sending them the letter revoking their ACH , ltr. to AG's etc have found out if they have derrogatory info from the pdls that act. have been closed? If so, please advise.

Lorri, I have their paid in full emails but I think the one that is given me problems are the pdls from MTE Financial, they are rude and nasty. Is there anyway I can find out if I am right about MTE Financial being the ones? and if so is there anyway we can have teletrack delete them? I have not checked my credit report yet, but while I was visiting a friend who is also having trouble with MTE she dare me to see if I could get a pdl and if I was approved to go ahead and cancel it within the 48 hrs they give you., so I did but I found a website for pdl that claimed they did not use teletrack. and they denied the loan because I had derrogatory information on Teletrack, "my social sec did not match" (I gave them the EIN# instead of my social and they saw it did not match the number in the teletrack info, that is how I found out.

You can go to teletrack.com to get a copy of your report. I had to call and get a copy of mine. The phone number is listed on their website. They will send you a free one in the mail. You can dispute the information on the report. That is how I've had some removed from mine. I think a couple just forgot to remove them after I got PIF letters. I had one go on my credit report after it was turned over to an outside CA. I disputed that and had it removed as well. It doesn't hurt to check you regular credit reports on a consistent basis.

Yes it is all subprime lenders...Like RAC and those type companies....However, as someone who has a television from RAC, I don't recommend these places either...They are just as bad as the PDL's and if I wasn't already almost paid off, then I would have turned this back in to them....

Thanks Michele for the info. I will check into it. Leah, you have to either send the pdls emails every day asking for your refund and paid in full letter, you have to become a perst until they get pi... off and they send them to you , I guess, that is what I did especially with any pdl that belong to MTE FInancial they are the worst to deal with and they are the one that refuse your refund, they will charge-off and close youor account and tell you that you will be barred from borrowing from them again. I guess they really want to put it to you and they also report you to teletrack and credit bureau. By the way CONGRATULATIONS!!

Teltrack is used by alot of PDL's in the industry. And many secondary source financing companies. Many of which are not bad companies expecially if you can't get approved by a bank- I like them. If you have a paid in full letter send a copy to them certified mail. - get the green card back they have 60days to get back to the lender to verify the debt paid if they question your letter. They will usually update your report within 60 days. I reccomend everyone if they are acquiring alot of debt to pull Credit reports on them selves every 6mos. If you receive a denied letter from a company take it to your local credit reporting agency they still should be mailing you one free. If you dont have a denied letter pay the 10-20 bucks to get one. I dont reccommend joining a credit reporting club unless you have acquired major debt.
