It won't hurt to contact them again. I know it took about 2 weeks for all of them to start harassing me, some even longer than that. Where all did you have loans from? I can tell you from experience how long it took to contact me if we have loans from the same places!

I have only heard from one and I sent mine out 3-4 weeks ago, one of the other ones just sent me to a collection agency, so I am getting ready to send them out again.

There are a few members who would hit them with multiple faxes and emails a day with their letters until they got a response. They would even send them repeatedly the same way they send their repeated emails until they eventually got a response or a response for a decent settlement, and if the situation called for a PIF, then continued until they got the PIF. You just have to be persistent with these companies. LOL, there are a few that even had their emails blocked from the companies for sending their letters repeatedly. LOL

I did respond to the ones who sent me letters saying their payment was returned...duh...I sent you a letter a week before saying it would. The only ones I haven't heard from are Upfront Payday, Authorized payday and ameriloan. The others are the ones everyone complains about here.....500 fast cash, GFSIL, etc...I responded to them by basically saying what I said the first time except I did tell them that I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in California. So, I was wondering about the other three.

OH! I want to be in that club! I want to be the one who got banned from emailing GFSIL!

Chances are that ameriloan will leave you alone since you filed a complaint with the AG's office. Just ignore GFSIL. I've not heard of Upfront or Authorized.

Me too. Unfortunately, they were the first to respond and have been sending emails and phone calls ever since telling me their withdrawal was refused. They shouldn't have ignored my email. However, I expected that from the messages I seen at this site. Only three haven't responded, but I am wondering why. Antsy I guess.

I have a website that I found many many months ago, which I shared here. It is for starting up your own IPDL company, gives some very telling and dirty secrets and the company is the one that you set up your business with. And I will tell you that in one section it states to the "lender" not to mess with the educated consumer who files complaints because they do not want the "authorities" on their back, it also stated that the govt. agencies are too overburdened to care for these types of complaints. I will have to do some digging. But I will give info. to get to the link. It was several months ago when I posted it.

if you think about it, it makes sense though....why bother with someone who knows the law and their rights. What is it going to get them, other than unwanted attention in a state (maybe even country) that they aren't licensed with and not abidding by the laws of the state. Initially my calls were hourly back when I first defaulted, however, it seems that it runs in a cycle, you drop off for a while and then your back in the phone cycle. I just refer the callers to my debt settlement co, and since then they've stopped completely.

I was thinking that ameriloan might not respond. I found through help at this site, that they were ordered to cease and refrain by the California's Attorney General's office through the court system here.
