5th time I have tried posting this...OH AG Complaints Filed

Could be your overreacting, but I'm not going to say that. You'll just have to wait and see. Or call the companies that you haven't heard from and see what their deal is.

Most of the collection agencies used by these places are not recognized by the credit bureau...Also UCL and One click do their own in house....You would have receievd something from a third party by now...The two that sent me to collections did so very quickly...almost immediately after they got my letters and faxes...And whatever collection agency they were going to report you too...Fight them too. The one company didnt refer me to collections...they sold my account to collection agency so I told that collection agency taht since the original company refused to answer my letters taht I would send them the same letter and that I was also expecting my refund check now....

Oh and I read somewhere that UCL was ordered by OK to stop lending so they may not respond and that all their contracts are null and void

Thanks, maybe that was what was wrong with my post. My bank account is closed so they can't get any more money, thank goodness. That would be awesome if they all just decided to leave me alone since I contacted the AG. I would like to have PIF letters just for my own recourse just in case but I will take whatever I will get. Too bad I am broke now because of them though. :(

Hang in there guys...sometimes it does take some time before a response can be gotten from these places. It might take someone contacting them (meaning the pdl places) before they hear back from them. I know from my experience, even when I was waiting for answers from the pdl places myself, it seemed like it took forever and that was because I was impatient. Just remain calm...(I know, easier said than done). Also you can blame everything on today being Friday the 13th!!! That is what I have done all day since my day has been crappy too! 35 more minutes and I get to go home!!!

It does take time. And many of these companies will back off once they are notified by the AG that they have a complaint against their company. Some companies will leave the consumer alone who has filed complaints and move on to the uneducated consumer who has no idea of their rights. So, chances are, if they have not responded to anything, and you have not heard from them, then you are done with them. I would not sit around and spend your time waiting and worrying, you already have taken control of your finances and they can not take anymore of your money. I know when the AG received responses from the companies the person contacted me and then followed up to make sure the company held onto it's written agreement on PIF. It can take time with some companies.

My office is usually freezing cold. My boss turns the AC down to 65 degrees because he is hot. I sit here with a sweater on and my little heater going and am usually still cold!

Not sure where you are at, but in is 4:10 PM here, been here since 7:45 AM and am ready to get out of here. My husband got lucky enough to work during the day today so he is home and we are discussing maybe going out for a drink or two, but it will depend on how he is feeling and I am actually feeling when I get home. Might be one of those things that we might say the heck with it and fall asleep in front of the tv. Guess I am just getting old...can't "hang" like I use to. :? LOL

Hehe I have the office all to my self all day until about 5pm so I keep it on my temperature...Its so nice....I stuck here til 630 pm tonight :( I stopped being able to hang about 5 years ago at the ripe ole age of 24

I'm in Ohio-it is the same time here. OMG it is so hot in here. I sit just above the boiler for the university. I could cook a tv dinner on the floor.

My husband was off today because they ran out of parts in the factory he works in or something. We can't go out even for a bite to eat because between the electric bill and a pdl that my husband insists he can't default on, my whole paycheck is gone so we aren't doing anything at all. We have no cable cause we couldn't pay the bill and my cell phone will get shut off any day now.

I'm not into going out a lot on Fridays either except for something to eat-I am usually beat too.

Sorry to be a downer........I am really sad and depressed today.

Being 44 now, I don't "hang" hardly at all. My kids laugh at me because a lot of times I am in bed around 9:00 or 9:30, depending on what kind of things they have going on. My husband and I laugh that when both kids are gone, we are going to revert back in years and be like teenagers. We will be married 8 years next month and it has never been just him and I, so we thought we would act like we were teens and have fun and then listen to the kids tell us we are "too old" to act like we are acting. LOL Ha...probably be sitting in my rocking chair exhausted by then. :?

I don't really "hang" either!!! I have a neighbor that is your age and she likes to go drink but doesnt want to go till like 9 or 10!!! I tell her, gosh that is way too late for me to be going out! My husband and I have never had the house to ourselves, either. We will be married 7 years in June and my stepdaughter has always been there with us. She will be 18 in 2 years them may be we will have some peace!

Keep a check on your credit report also. Because the loan company might send your file to some debt collector who will try to recover the money. Collection entries, if they are unauthorized, are very derogatory remarks. It takes enough time to dispute the items with the bureaus and get it fixed. Until that period, your credit remains tarnished.

My credit is pretty tarnished anyhow but thanks for the warning. I am pretty sure I am filing for bankruptcy within the next couple weeks so I am going to file all these places in my bankruptcy and they can all kiss.....any money they are trying to collect goodbye. I am surprised none of them have sent me to any collections so far. Most of the phone calls have stopped.
