i'm rather nervous about this.. i'm a little over $10,00 in debt for my credit card because i was stupid and bought things that i shouldn't have bought. i just started working at a video store, though i don't make nearly enough to pay my monthly credit payments and have money for food and rent... i am 20 years old and just started working here. right now my monthly payments for the one card is $260.00 (rounded). Can someone please help me with this problem as i have no idea what to do and am a bit scared about this problem.

Since you are so young and you bought things that you don't really need can you sell those items and pay it towards the card? You could put things on ebay, make money and put it towards the cards balance. Or you could try to get a consolidation loan if your credit cards are up to date. $10,000, thats a nice chunk of change. can you possibly get a room mate to share expenses? You could also call the company and ask them for a lower payment till you get a better paying job. You are young, best to get out of this mess now, and stay off the unneeded shopping sprees, I know we all want nice things, but we must be able to afford them first so you don't blow your financial future.
