Need help to come out of payday loans.

Most payday lenders refuse to work with any consolidation. Please list what state you are from? what companies you have loans with? Please indicate whether they are storefront or if you got them through the internet? How much you borrowed from each and how much you have paid back. I know this seems overwhelming right now, but we can help you work through it. You came to the right place. I beg to differ fedupinpa, all of the PDLs that I had worked and are still working with my debt consolidation company. This was for both storefront and internet pdls. I am in California and my debt consolidatio company operates out of Alabama.

I am in missouri...I have loans with Security Finance, empire Finance, BNT loans, Sharon ans Shellys Pawn, Gators pawn, Mo. Title loan company. I owe alomost 2000.00 dollars in payday loans.

are there any consolidation compaines that will work with paysay loan people...everyone i have called says they dont. maybe im not calling the right people

Actually, there are very few dmp companies who make the pdl companies accept their proposals. I don't know how they put the deal to the lenders, but they get the arrangements done in favor of the consumers.

Which companies are you dealing with and what is the latest status of each account?

All of the loans i have out now are in good standing...but i am just paying the interest and its hurting me. i am a single mom who was workinf two jobs and just quit one b/c it was too much and i have no clue what to do next. There are some that are due this week. I need to find somewhere where i can consolidate them so i can just have one bill instead of 8

Wow, Lorri, that is great, I could not get them to work with me that way. The PDLs refused, I am in Pa, payday loans are prohibited here. don't know if that had anything to do with it or not. I came here with 10 loans and was completely overwhelmed. Wish I would have ran into you then. I am down to 2 now, dealing with their nasty attitudes was the worst. Who is the consolidation company that you are dealing with. Maybe you can advise green on how to get ahold of them. Glad you commented here, I take it back, I was unaware, but was only going on my own experience with them.

sorry green for giving you the wrong info, I was unaware and have had to fight the battle on my own. Hopefully Lorri will come along soon and help you out. Hope your experience is better than mine was. It has been a rough road, but I am almost payday loan free. Can't wait for that day! Goodluck.

If you do a search for T&C on this board, you will find some info on them. They are a company that consolidates payday loans, and there are members of this board that have used them with sucess.

From the names of your loans it sounds like they are storefronts. If so, you may have an easier time getting them to work with you or a dmp, as they usually follow the laws of your state. Another thing you may want to try is just calling them yourself. Explain your situation, and see if you can work out affordable payment plans with them. It's hit or miss, sometimes they will work with you, sometimes they refuse. But it's worth a try!
