In the past two years I have lost my job in the military due to dissabilty and my marriage fell appart. I am faced with a large amount of debt obligations. I have very little money at the end of each month to get by. I have been resurching bankruptcy, but I decided to try other routes first.

Have you looked at all of your options? When you signed up, if you gave your phone number, you should get a call soon from a credit counselor. Remember that the call is free, and that you don't have to use their services. If you choose any company to help you deal with your debt, research them before you sign any contract--do all you can to make sure you aren't ripped off.

Since you have already thought about bankruptcy and you are having a hard time in paying, I think debt settlement will be the right choice for you. How much do you owe in total? Perhaps, debt settlement60 can reduce the total amount by 40% to 60%. Speak with different settlement companies and compare their quotes.
