Pay Day Loan Consolidation
Date: Tue, 04/17/2007 - 13:14
I have 5 payday loans and the fees are hurting my finances terribly bad. I want to consolidate them, but cannot find anyone who will do that. Can you provide me with the names of some agencies that do? I live in the state of CT and want to be rid of these loans so I can get back to life as usual without the added worries of a short bank account every pay period.
Thanks!

When you registered here, a counselor in your area is referred for the free consultation. He will call to discuss about your debts and work out a plan. Which pdl companies do you have the loans from? And how much have you paid so far?

I have five payday loans: Cashcall.com, which allows me to pay once a month allowing part of the payment to go to the principal. Then there is Impact Cash, world Cash, M1Y Direct, and Money World Lending. To date I have paid well over $2000 in finance fees. Is there really a company out there that will help by consolidating these payday loans and get rid of the finance fees? I've been trying to find one on my own with no results.

Are you aware of the laws in your state? You need to know how many times the pdl companies are allowed to roll the loan and charge the fees. Get confirmed that none of them is violating the laws. What state are you in?

I live in the state of CT. What my fear is, after they finish rolling over the finance fee, they will want to take the entire amount. One of them is on a pay down scale, and that's fine... but to have almost $1500 taken out of my account is not going to work for me. I recently asked for a two-week deferment, but after two weeks I'll be back in the same position.... HELP!
