Do they actually look into these claims?
How long does it usually take?
Please share good/bad results from this part of the process.

Yes they do look into the claims. They usually send you a copy of a letter they send to the payday loan places. Some have even recieved PIF, letters because of it some have recieved refunds (my states DFI is trying to get me a refund right now) SO far all of the places that tried to collect illegaly from me I have complaints against, and those companies have stopped calling and have stopped sending e-mails and letters. It does take some time but it also took me some time to get into this mess, so I am not rushing them.

I have posted some results in my threads that originally started my complaint on. guess it gets lost in the threads because it still holds the old title. I have gotten great results. One company did a paid in full and I still owed them money. Another just disappeared altogether until today, they offered another loan. So yeah, it works as far as the AG is concerned.

Yes, they will respond. I know the BBB gives a case number and notifies you when the company you filed the complaint with responds to it, dealing with going back and forth with 3 Midland on that one right now. Some will not respond to the complaints, like Route66 and I received a letter stating they have not responded. It just takes a little time to hear anything back.
