Dealing with OneClickCash
Date: Wed, 04/18/2007 - 09:34
So today I look in my junk mail and find this letter from them. What should I do now? Send them a letter of dispute? I don't want to just give up and have T&C deal with it if I don't really owe them anything. (I'm in VA and know I have overpaid - see previous posts).
TIA,

Oh, BTW I DID fax a complaint to the SCC's website over the weekend. Would this have anything to do with it, or is their normal collection notice?
I got a couple of those from Route66 saying something similar.
I got a couple of those from Route66 saying something similar. I would think if you have paid them everything you should have then I would not think you would have anything to worry about, (if I am wrong, please someone correct me.) They are not happy that they were not able to get more money from you, at least in my opinion anyway.

That is the exact same letter I got from I think 500fastcash. I would email them back and remind them again of the fact that you have overpaid them. Did you report them to your AG? I have heard nothing from 500fastcash in the last week or two myself. There is no reason for you to pay T & C to pay them if you don't legally owe them anything. Good luck!!

I got one of those from Oneclick...i sent them a fax telling them that they had been notified that they were not to try and take money out of my account anymore and that the account would not honor it as it was closed...I also am disputing the amount they claim i owe them....

Thanks guys... I guess I'll keep fighting it and let T&C know that account is in dispute.
I need to try and get in touch with Geneva Roth - still haven't heard a word from them about my correspondence, returned check, etc. so I wonder what's going on.

If you have overpaid them, send them another letter to this effect. Fax, e-mail, certified mail. I remember disputing with them and I guess you could consider my account still in dispute 1 1/2 years later. They were quiet for several months and then contacted me at work out of the blue. I filed round one of complaints against them. A few weeks later, they turned me over to a collection agency. I never heard back from the CA after I sent them a dv letter via certified mail. I have filed complaints against them with my AG and DIF. File complaints against them ASAP!!!

Guess what, everyone? I got an email from OCC yesterday saying that my loan has been paid in full and that they would like me to consider using their service in the future, etc.
It may be because of my complaint to the authorities here in VA, or the letters I sent them. Whatever it is, I don't owe them any more $$ and can cross at least that one loan off my list! :!: :D
