Dropping Checking?? Ideas

Well it has only been a simple two weeks and between the PDL's messing up my checking acct and the over draft fee's I can't use my checking acct anymore. So now I am going to have my boss direct deposit my check into a savings acct. Which will put my checking even further in the hole but at least I can buy the family some food and pay on some other bills. The only problem is I will have no way to access the money while I am out of town 4 days a week for work. Any thoughts or ideas from anyone?

To elaborate on that topic, there are prepaid debit Mastercards available at Rite Aid and Walgreen pharmacies that will also allow you to have your paycheck direct deposited directly to the card. I do it myself right now. It can be used anywhere you can use Mastercard. There are fee-free ATM's too, but you have to log onto the website for the card company to find them. Otherwise you get a fee from the card company AND the ATM owner.
