Hess sud Arrow financial

Citibank sent my account to Allen Adkins attorney. Kennedy Hess sued him because he sent me a letter after they sent him a letter that i was represented by counsel.

i did not know they were going to do that. they also sued citibank for collecting on my account that was in dispute because of fraud and late posting of paymetns. it is in federal court right now.

Read my post in the "Dealing with collection agencues forum. Arrow was sued in Los Angeles about a week agao, and the jury awarded the consumer $100,000.

They aremuch better than they were 5 months ago. I think they hired mroe staff.

That's great that they are much better--but they still need to collect only on accounts that are legitimately owed by consumers, and based on the results of the lawsuit shared by law student, this wasn't happening with this company.

kscornell is right. But companies such as Arrow no doubt have litigation costs factored into the corporate budget, so it is all a cost of doing business. It's all a game really, companies such as Arrow know they'll be sued, but then there's the odd consumer who doesn't know his or her rights, and offers some sort of payment. This is where such companies profit. The more consumers know their rights (thanks to forums such as this), the less profitable these CAs will become.
