Welcome to the Community :D Make sure when you contact Midland, that the account is not past the SOL, and they are legally bound to be collecting the debt. Once you find out what it is about, send them a debt validation letter,certified,return receipt and make them show they own the debt. If the debt is out of the Statute of Limitations, making a payment or sometimes, a promise to pay, can restart the clock all over again. Good Luck-if you have questions, please ask..Karen
