your so right AnthonyLemons, it was very good. the best part for me is to see these crooks take off running away from the cameras. that was cool. now these crooks in that ring on known now around the world who have t.v. the FBI will get them now. I never give money to anyone over the internet or open any funny emails.

Being originally from New York, I have seen so many con jobs, and I try to pass my insight onto my son, even though he is only nine years old. Street smarts and common sense, to me, is more important than book smarts.

Defintely....and I stupidly opened an email last week from a "look like" site I thought I knew...and bam...virus protection jumped up!! Anthony...I totally agree and have done the same with my kids...I am originally from Chicago...so I have seen some crazy stuff myself!

There are so many threats out ther nowadays, and it is hard to know which way they will strike you from. It could get at you through the computer, or some strung out crackhead could gun you down in the street for 5 bucks, or some gang bangers could kick in your front door and do some bad things to your family...it is a sad and scary time we live in.

Sorry, that's off the subject, but I, too, have just been deleting anything anymore. I don't even click on it. I hate to see some people that aren't doing that. morningstarr, I'm sorry that happened to you. I guess we're better off deleting everything (and hoping it's not legit!) than having this crap pulled on us.

I enlisted in Albany, but I have been to Watertown a few times.

Ahhh, so you know "my area"! Been to Albany, been to Watertown, been to Syracuse. LOL! :lol: Not a whole lot going on up there, but it's BEAUTIFUL!

It is nice up there, and a nice change of pace. One thing I miss about upstate are the cows. Here in Alaska, we have bear and moose, but no cows, unless your lucky enough to come across a dairy farm, which are very few.

I used to feed the cows! LOL! Many of my friends had dairy farms or horse farms. It was really cool. It was a great place to grow up. How did you end up in Alaska with the moose?

I was sent here with the military in 1993. This is considered the staging area for the Pacific Theater. From here, one can get to any part of the World faster, by going over the North Pole or across the Pacific.

I had to fly in a noisy C-130, all the way from Alaska to Mongolia once, only stopping in Japan for a night, and it was the most uncomfortable flight I have ever experienced, and we had to wear ear plugs the whole way because the engines were so loud. So there was no talking the whole way, just loud ass engines.

The worst flight I ever had was also in a military flight--which almost bailed out over the water near Milwaukee!!!!! I was in full uniform and had to have about 4 drinks in me to get back on the plane....and I have never been so scared in an airplane before or since!

I love all life stories, come on, Cannr, tell us about the time you fought off an army of zombies while holed up in a mall.

Planes can be really scary, because you have no control over anything.

I can tell some stories! However, they don't involve different countries or scary plane rides! LOL! Just the freaky things that happen in real life - which is scary!

You mean stories like when you are looking at something in the store, and some rude ass person reaches in front of your face for something on the shelf without saying excuse me...that pisses me off.

Or when you are standing in line at the store, and the customer behind you is in your personal space, as if you are together...another pet peev of mine.

How about when you politely hold a door open for a stranger, and they walk in without even saying 'thank you'. As if you are fulfilling your requirement to them.

How about the obnoxious person on the cell phone, who must let everyone know what they are talking about? Like I give a damn that he or she has a rash on their ass, or they get to drive the company car....whooopppiiiee!!!! Shut up, cell phone yeller.

How about the fast food server who acts as if you interrupted their work day by placing an order. "Can I help you?" In a bored, irritated voice. They don't even say "Thank you" or "have a nice day" or even make eye contact. That is the way service has become with this new generation.

Anthony you are so right!!! My "kids" are 27 and 23 and I raised them the same way I was raised...and made them work for what they wanted whther I could hand it to them or not..I am proud to say I have raised two very strong young adults who are so different in thoughts and value to what I see around me all the time..but it wasn't easy...even my own sister thought I was "too hard" on my kids...

And when those rude behavours occur...I usually answer back...someone stands too close...I back off and say excuse me!!
