Have you pulled a recent copy of your credit reports from annualcreditreport.com? It's free, once per year, or anytime you've been denied credit, and it will help you get a good idea of what your credit is really like. There is no program to sign up for or fees involved.

If you can give us an idea of what kind of debt you're dealing with, we can give you some advice on how to get out of debt and start rebuilding your credit. Keep in mind, however, that your debt did not appear overnight, and it will not DISappear overnight...it will take time and effort on your part.

You have already started by taking the first step - registering with our community! If you have properly filled out the form, you can expext a free consultaion call within a couple of days. In the meantime, you will need to have some information handy. Like SUEBEEHONEY70 posted, pull your credit reports. Also, a good idea is open up Excel and create a file, where you can write down all your creditors, your balances, APRs and minimum payments. That will give you a good idea of what you owe and how much you are paying for it.
